have you tried maynoise? I know you are thinking... oily. it might be.. but then if you use spray and wash that should take care of that little problem.

Lestoil is a liquid. Have you tried tried Goo Gone, which removes sticky substances. Let it soak the area and rub it gently. Then let it dry. Once dried, wash the satin/silk sheets in the usual manner. I hope this does the trick!! For any oil like stains left by previous methods or even the one that I'm recommending, use Shout, douse the area, rub gently, let it dry then wash in the usual manner. Good Luck!!

First, place an ice cube in a baggie.
Second, put the bag on gum in carpet.
Third, wait until gum completely freezes.
Fourth, scrape gum from carpet using a dull knife, such as a butter knife.
It should only take you 10 minutes.
Good Luck

If your sheets are washable then try peanut butter (it breaks down the bond) then apply detergent to remove the remaining oily stain and wash as usual. I have used it to get gum out of hair and then shampooed. It worked very well.

The only thing i suggest is try to freeze the gum with ice then when the gum is hard peel it off. I hope that helps.

Use some lestoil... It's found in the laudry or cleaning isle.. It's used to mop greasy floors but, it's really good at removing gunk and goop from carpets and clothing.. My mother in law just used it to get gum from the carmats of her custom FORD carmats in the 1951 Ford....*Just apply to gum and launder as usual. good luck

check with your local dry cleaner they should be able to tell you some thing that will take it out or give you a reasonable price on getting it out for you.
