Help...yuck! Ants in my toaster oven!?

Is there any way to salvage the appliance while getting rid of/killing the ants or just toss it in the trash?

Clean out the toaster oven next to the sink. Flush the alive ants down the sink. The toaster oven could be just the starting point! Clean everything in the kitchen area and provide no food for the little guys and they will move next door.

Ok this will sound stupid but I'll say it neway, Turn the oven on?? Then shake it outside and clean throughly.... Oh well I tried.

They are just doing their little ant job of scavanging. clean it out, it isn't broken.
