...................NOTE.............
I consider a magnetic drive pumps far safer, no oil that could leak out into the pond.
The only thing that usually wears out is the impeller and I keep 1 in stock at home all the time.
Pump is set inside skimmer and I have a diverter valve on the outflow connected to the 2 Fishmates.
I hope some of this helps since I basically wasn't sure about specifically you needed to know

Make your own... build a stream and lightly fill with gravel. Any debris falling into your pond or in your water will be filtered out whilst running downstream. You will obviously need to have a pump with a large enough capacity to pump water to the top of your stream.

Not a difficult question. You need to work out the volume of your pond first
width x depth x length, then x 6.25 to convert it to gallons.
The pond water needs to be circulated through your filter once every 2 hours so your filter should be large enough to handle this. It's always advisable to get a slightly larger filter than you need if your pocket will allow it. Hope this helps you.

What about them ?
A properly sized pump (based on size of pond for recirculation) and a UV filter for killing all the nasties.
Edit: A thumbs down ? .... Sorry, my psychic abilities are not very good, maybe actually give a decent question next time eh.
