I used to have a fairly large bedroom but had to move out due to the fact that it needs to be shared and im much older than my siblings. I would like to find a place(or make one) where me and my friends can hangout and design it! (like a basement or tree house) but the problem is none of us have trees at our houses AND where i live no one has a basement. :/
Do you know any other places where we can call our own?
Or do you have a compromise(secret places ect)
Thanks!

Attic? Or just take one of your rooms and let it be the hangout. I had a friend who's house was the hangout. We all painted whatever we wanted for fun on her walls. She had a bunk bed so we made the bottom like a couch with a ton of throw pillows that could also we used on the floor if we had a crowd.

Ha! I was thinking Tree House when I read more. Building even something small can cost a lot of money. But, you could have a tree house on 4-6 poles. Not need to be huge, maybe 10x10 feet. Lay out some rope to get an idea of size. Throw down some Bean Bags. Run a good extension cord to your little Bungalow and have Music, TV, and AC.

Next to a basement room (too bad you don't have access to one!), a garage might be ideal (if it's not being used alot.) Otherwise, a large, empty shed? Someone might have one in their backyard, and something like that, while looking ratty at first, can be very cozy depending on how you re-decorate and furnish it. Good luck! :)

When I was a teen my friend's Mom let us make a room out of part of the garage. They put up 2 walls and then let us decorate it how we wanted (At our own expense!). We all loved it there and had great fun.

Larger churches have excellent teen groups with all sorts of fun activities and cool people to hang out with - check them out, you will be pleasantly surprised.
