we have a labrador *****. when she wees on the lawn, it burns the grass away, the lawn is only small and has begun to look unsightly, holes are appearing where she goes, which is making the lawn unsafe and unhygienic for my young children to play on. she is walked 4 or 5 times a day with plenty of time to relieve her self. i know i will recieve answers such as "she is marking her terratory" that i already know. what im after, is way to stop her doing it.

I hate to clean. Any ideas on how I can get rid of all my useless junk? I really have a hard time because I want to keep clothes that my children have to grow into and its taking up way too much space. Any ideas on how to deal with laundry that piles up from 3 kids? I am a single mother having a very hard time. Any ideas on how to get the children to help without any whining? I have tried bribery, allowances, punishments, etc. Nothing is working here. I need extreme help!!!

I just hate having to revolve my schedule around "Is it going to rain or not going to rain?"

What if I just wait until IT DOES RAIN and then put out the pre -emergent.

I cant afford to water my whole yard.

I am told that there are kits or paints that can be used and that can also be removed years later if I want to take it off or change it. I don't know what products to use though and can't find any. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The other day our first floor apt filled up with the smell of gasoline coming from the basement so badly that we could not go in for hours. We contacted the landlord but they blamed it on something irrelevant and left. Sometimes it is so bad that we cannot breathe, but if we open all of the windows it goes away. The problem is that the weather is going to drop below freezing tonight and we can't open them. We could not find the source of the odor in the basement. When the heater kicks on in the cold I can only imagine that it will worsen since the air comes from the basement. The other tenants in the house have the same complaint, but they are barely ever home so they just left it to us to take care of it. What should we do or who should we call? Or is this something that we just have to wait out?

my cousin recently moved into a new flat and she has a major roach problem! the owner of the flat tried getting exterminators in to spray the place but no luck, they are just everywhere (well, mostly in the kitchen) its those miniture ones that are hard to catch up with, let alone kill, not the big super-nasty ones...so, how exactly can she get rid of them AND stop them from coming back? preferably at a minimal cost

Hey, I have about 7 aloe veras & have been raising them since 1992. They are growing like wildfire but my problem is that I want THICK leaves, not the small ones!
How do I get thick leaves like my grandpa use to have.
Dimensions- mine are aprox 2 fingers wide, my grandpas were about 4 fingers wide.

Just moved into new home and it has regular little house roaches. I refuse to live with bugs. We've already bombed the house twice and sprayed everything with Roach, Flea, Tick, Spider Repellent. Claims it "Kills on Contact", but I'm finding this hard to believe? Any help is appreciated.

I'm installing some low voltage outdoor landscape lighting. The instructions say that any wiring left over at the end (after the fixtures have been put in place), well as they put it, you can just "coil the wire". What does that mean? Just coil it in a circle and tie a knot? I figured I shouldn't leave the end wire exposed.

I recently bought a townhouse will all electric power. I noticed the red emergency heat light on whenever the heat kicked on. We have a one year warranty on the house and a man came out and said that we needed a new outside unit. To make a long story short, a new outside unit was installed, but when ever the heat comes on the red emergency light still comes on. I called and he had me take the cover off the thermostat. told me to get the top mercury ball to the left and keep the bottom one to the right, and he asked if anything happened. I could hear the fan kick on, but the heat did not come on. He then said to take both mercury balls to the left and the heat should come on. I did and the emergency heat came on. He said that it is normal to come on for a little while in the mornings as long as it is not coming on during the day. It has been rather mild here lately like in the 60's. Shouldn't the aux. heat be enough to heat the house. Am I getting the run around or what is the deal here

I have a gallon of latex tan and a quart of a rusty orange. I am trying to match a strip in a rug.

Here is the challenge, can I add a quart of gold (the decorative accent style gold and I think it is not latex) to the latex mixture.

Latex, of course drys quickly, I tested this gold and it took about 2 days to get totally non tacky.

What would happen if I mix them? Would they just take longer to dry or would it just make a total mess?

Thanks in advance for all knowledgeable answers.

We made an offer on a new home. The ONLY negative is there is not an upstairs bathroom where all of the bathrooms are. How difficult and expensive would it be to put a bathroom upstairs by running pipes upstairs? There is a room upstairs directly above the downstairs bathrooms and laundry room.
