I am told that there are kits or paints that can be used and that can also be removed years later if I want to take it off or change it. I don't know what products to use though and can't find any. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a friend who bought a kit at either Lowe's or Home Depot. It was a stained glass stick on kit. You have to make the pattern with a special kind of glue and the stuff that comes in the kit. After it has all sat up you apply it to your window and when you are ready to take it down it is supposed to peel off.

Rather than painting it (and maybe changing your mind later), there are films to apply to windows in stained glass and many other designs. They still let the light in and are very pretty.

Check out a product called "Gallery Glass". They make a type that'll peel off later.
