I have a Kenmore Progressive that takes belt 20-5275, but since Kenmore is a Sears only brand I can't find a belt. I live about an hour from the nearest Sears so I was hoping to find a compatible one.

A skunk sprayed outside our house last night. The scent has made its way into our house and is actually stronger inside now than it is outside. Other than opening the windows (it's pretty cold here) what, if anything, will eliminate the odor in the house? (The smell is mostly just in the air - I don't smell it on linens, furniture, etc ... YET!)

We are re-doing our exterior doors and sanded them over the weekend. The problem is that it started pouring down rain in the middle of the night and now they are all wet. Is there any way to save the doors or are we going to have to replace them?

The doors aren't warped but you can tell that they soaked up some rain.

I have recently bought my own flat (leasehold 999 years) and it is under a management company. They have let me know that the Freeholders have prohibited Sky dishes to be installed into the property. I can kind of understand this as most of the block are tennants of the local letting agents and putting dished up and down can cause structural damage to the property. To make matters worse Virgin Media doesn't provide a service in my area. Is there any way I can get Sky?? =(

I have a tree in my front yard that has 4 small bundles of mistletoe, I noticed them during the winter and am going to remove them next weekend. Is there anything else I should do to help this tree? Will it spread to my other trees?

I searched my attic and did not see a nest but they seem to be all around the back side of my house by the rafters. Is anyone else having this problem? How do I get rid of them? Also, Some of them actually found there way into my house so I had to slap them with a magazine. That has never happened before.

Im looking to buy a new mattress. Does anyone have the sleep number bed? If so, is there a big difference in comfort level between the pillow top and traditional mattress? Does anyone have the sleep number bed and like it? dislike it?

Our (dry) basement has cedar panels with no finish on them. What is the best way to do faux stucco over them? I don't want to take them down because they were put on really well. Will joint compound adhere to wood or do I need to do wire and roof felt???

I live in an apartment that is approx. 1000 sq ft. I live in the south and summers are extremely hot. Last summer my electric bills ran $250-$350. My ac unit really needs to be replaced but my landlord wont do it because he says it runs fine. During the summers it runs all day long and it's still almost 80 in my apartment. The unit is at least 25 years old. SO I am thinking about saving on my electric bill this summer by using just 2 window ac units instead of my regular unit. Do you think I will save money? Or will it at least be cool in my apartment?

I recently got a little water in my basement as the snow started melting. I borrowed a dehumidifier from my buddy because the carpet is a little damp, and starting to get a musty smell. I woke up this morning after running it all night, and there was no water in the basin. Bone dry. What could cause that? I heard it kick on and everything seemed normal and he's been using it, so I could imagine the coil being burnt out. Any ideas?

Also, are these fairly expensive to run? I heard they were really costly. Thanks in advance!
