Im looking to buy a new mattress. Does anyone have the sleep number bed? If so, is there a big difference in comfort level between the pillow top and traditional mattress? Does anyone have the sleep number bed and like it? dislike it?

The downside to most innerspring mattresses is the polyurethane foam in the top comfort layers, which rapidly degrades resulting in body depressions. Compare Custom Comfort construction.

I've slept on a sleep number bed and after that decided I liked the Simmons Beautyrest mattresses best. The sleep number to me, was a glorified air mattress. it wasnt any better... and for the money, the traditional mattress was just our favorite. We have one that is pillow top and one that is regular. the pillow top is more cushioned and we really like that... the other is fine as well, but the softness of the sleep with the pillow top is just so much nicer!
