I am looking into buying either the:
Bissel Flip-It Bare floor cleaner 5200
Hoover Floormate Powerbrush 300

I would like to know people's experiences with these products...I am just trying to decide on something that can clean my wood floors at a reasonable price.

I've had both.

I HATED and I mean HATED the Bissel Flip. It gets soooo annoying after a while and just didn't do good enough for me.

I have the Hoover Floormate right now and I love it. It really gets my floors clean. It has two brush options and multiple attachments. I can go from floor to floor knowing my floors are being both scrubbed and disinfected.

I mix clorox cleanup with there special Hoover mix and my floors come out great. Then you just rinse down the parts that got dirty like the dirty water holder when you're done with the floors and that's it! Easy Clean up/Maintenance.

On the other hand you'll be flipping and flopping allll around with that Bissel flip it doesn't clean well enough and it's just plain old annoying. Stick with the Hoover!

I have the floormate (and won it in a raffle). Good thing it was for free because I feel it's not worth the money. The scrubbing brushes just barely graze the floor (I think they're afraid of scratching) and as a result, it takes forever to scrub off food particles from my kitchen floor.
