The most cost effective moving company may not be your best bet. There have been lots of reports of moving companies raising their fees after they already have your belongings and actually holding your things hostage. A lot of the times when people actually get their belongings, they are damaged and missing things. Make sure you check with the Better Business Bureau before you select a company and get an estimate in writing.
This is a really helpful site.

Impossible to answer without more information. Before any move, you should receive multiple moving estimates from different companies. Be sure to be very clear in the services you need and ask if you have any questions. Make sure your estimates are in writing. Then, carefully compare the estimates side-by-side. You will then be able to make an informed-decision. Remember, cheaper is not always better.
