I had a Pyrex glass baking sheet explode. Any suggestions on how to clean it out? Some pieces are stuck below the grate out of reach.

I have attempted sweeping and using a vacuum extension in the bottom vents. Neither worked.

In this situation I would write a very plain worded letter to Pyrex asking them this question. It is their product that malfunctioned and made your oven unusable.

I just had a Pyrex glass baking dish explode on me too about 1 - 2 months ago. Mine shattered as soon as my brownies were done baking and I set the dish on top of my stove. Pyrex is really lucky that none of the glass went into my face, although I ended up with a few pieces in my hair. I am so glad I didn't have my baby in the kitchen with me.

I would use a vacuum to get as much out as possible.

For the loose glass you can reach, use a wet rag or wet paper towel to pick it up & discard. For the pieces below the grate use a vacum crevice devise. You may need to pull the stove out away from wall to get access to it. Still bottom of oven should pull up for cleaning.

Vacuum using the crevice attachment. There is usually a vent of some sort on the floor of the interior of the oven so that should allow as much access as you need.

After it cools try to use a vacuum hose to get it out. If that does not get the pieces out I do not know what to tell you. If it does not get out though what harm can it cause...If it is below the grate it cant cut anyone.
