Anyone have any ideas on the average price for an electrician changing an element on an electric boiler?

I live in Scotland, just in case rates differ on where you're located.

If you mean an immersion heater element in a hw. cylinder, probably about. £30.00 - 40.00 + parts. Are you sure it's the element? could be wiring/fuse/thermostat/cut out.!

With you living in Scotland it would be hard to answer your question, The best I could say would be to call an electrician in your area and get a qoate locally. pricing on labor varys from town to town... and the element

About Â£100. I bought one from Wickes for Â£13.00 and did it myself.
