I have recently bought my own flat (leasehold 999 years) and it is under a management company. They have let me know that the Freeholders have prohibited Sky dishes to be installed into the property. I can kind of understand this as most of the block are tennants of the local letting agents and putting dished up and down can cause structural damage to the property. To make matters worse Virgin Media doesn't provide a service in my area. Is there any way I can get Sky?? =(

check the local ordinances....
there was a lawsuit a while back granting dish companies the right to compete for business in leased units. You may have the legal right to use the dish if installed properly

It's all digital now, you don't need a dish! Phone up Sky and ask them what they can do.
