I would like to know what worked for other people and what you would do over or not do over (in terms of your bathroom reno) I am taking out everything except maybe the toilet which is ok and may or not be kept in the same place. Currently there is an old vanity with a big mirror (which can all go) a whirlpool tub (which i don't like because it's noisy). There is no shower and I do want a shower - It's tiled with 50s aqua tile (yes it was done in the 50s and not since) and the previous owner painted the walls purple (not mauve or lilac but BRIGHT purple). The floor is cheap lino and it's going as well as the 50s light fixtures, One thing I do like the idea is a built in sun or heat lamp - does anyone have this? Like it? I need all sorts of ideas and web sites! Thanks in advance for all the ideas!

What is the best time of year to take Frangipanni Cuttings (for an Australian Climate, more specifically Western Australia) and should they be dried out first, should something be put on the cutting to promote root growth, when should they be potted, do they need to be in shade for a while, should I use soil or potting mix, should I water them much after potting??
Many Thanks in advance

I had a toilet that leaked over time and destroyed the wood subfloor beneath it. Beneath the subfloor is cement (basement floor). What's the simplest procedure for removing the subloor? So far, the linoleum and baseboards have been removed and a small portion of the most damaged wood has been removed, but it seems very difficult to remove the remainder of the floorboard.

We recently installed vinyl siding to our forty-some-odd year old house. The contractor neither removed the old house wrap, which was severely worn, nor install a new one.

My concern is: is it okay to install siding even without a house wrap, and is it fine to just leave the old layer on?
