I inherited a very nice bedroom set. But, the person who gave it to me was a heavy smoker. I would like to know what I can use to get ride of the smoke smell? Although I believe the outside of the pieces are sealed, the insides are not.

It looks identical to the bulbs on this page
http://www.lyco.co.uk/category-contents/Low-Voltage.htm?catID=1879
but it's in a ceiling fitting, so I can't believe it's low voltage. It must be 240V.
It has no markings or writing on it. Please help, it's in the loo and it's really dark in there.

I tried cleaning it with toilet bowl cleaner with bleach, but it's still there, even after letting it sit for a while, any suggestions?

I bought an over the range microwave. I have an outlet in the cupboards right above where it will go. Can I just plug it in there or will it need it's own circuit? I thought I could, but someone (not an electrician) told me differently. I don't want to blow my house up! LOL
Thanks!

I had a sales person at a national chain store tell me the price listed was the lowest she could go. She even let me walk out the store, maybe she was bluffing hoping I would come back soon. I know furniture mark up is huge, how can I get a fair deal? Say they are offering $1400, if I offer $1000 cash, will they be more willing to bite? Thanks in advance.

All people mention willow or peat moss regarding the propagation technique, but the thing is that the real deal is in d care after the cutting is taken. I mean these people make it sound like a piece of cake but it isn't. Roses get damp n rott + they never mention how long u have to keep ur cuttings in the rooting hormone either or the willow solution. thanks!!!

I have bought a large property in Brittany which needs renovation. I would like to use Local "Rose Granite" but cannot find a supplier.
I would use it for window sills, kitchen worktops, fireplace hearths etc.
Does anyone know if it would be practical to buy a block and cut it myself?. The cost of Custom made stuff is astronomical. Does anyone have any experience? I suppose I'd need a granite saw and a planer. How are these sink units made?
Any help would be appriciated.

We have relocated to the south west and are now looking to buy somewhere to live. Can anyone recommend somewhere near to Exeter? A village less than 5 miles from Exeter, good road links, pub to watch the football - where do you suggest?
