We have relocated to the south west and are now looking to buy somewhere to live. Can anyone recommend somewhere near to Exeter? A village less than 5 miles from Exeter, good road links, pub to watch the football - where do you suggest?

Within five miles is hard. There's Clyst St Mary & Newton St Cyres & Exminster but they wouldn't be great for watching footy.
There are shed loads of villages around Exeter but within 5 miles is a bit tricky.

the best thing about exeter is the m5 it gets you away quicker
a lot of new houses planned north of the city around the airport
suggest you make a couple of visits to explore the area.but beware this place is getting to be one off the most expensive places to live in the country
the worst problem at the moment in exeter is traffic
