I have a black denali North Face coat and everytime I sit down in my mom's house I get covered in white dog hair from her dog. I have washed and dried and washed and dried and I CANNOT get rid of the hair. I have tried rubbing a dryer sheet all over it, lint rollers and hair mits. NOTHING will get the hair out!! It seems to be almost stuck in the coat. Please help!

use one of the lint brushes that is made of masking tape. Its like the advice below except MUCH easier b/c you dont have to cut the tape, roll it up, etc. Its masking tape on a handle, basically. When the tape isnt sticky anymore b/c its covered in fur, pull it off and use another piece.

And, next time, take your jacket off before you sit down so it doesnt get covered in fur.

Maybe a clothing shaver will help. You could try taking it to the cleaners too but I don't know if that will help. You need to start wearing a different jacket to mom's house or leave it in your car and go in without a jacket on. Try sticking strips of duct tape to it and see if that helps. Duct tape is stronger then the lint rollers. Otherwise I would suggest you sit and start picking at it section by section. I have had this problem too. I now won't buy any kind of clothing that has material that will hold animal hair or lint. It's hard but I don't. I have even returned clothes if I forgot and bought it by accident. I just can't take it. Good luck.

Maybe take a damp wash clothe and try to pick up the hair. I have a yellow lab and she sheds all I the time too. And maybe keep the jacket higher or in a closet where it can't rub up against it. Hope this helped! :)

duct tape or packing tape . cut a long piece, stick it to the jacket, rub it so all the hair attaches to it and peal off in one fast motion. Do it in lines until it is all gone .It works like a charm.
