I have a swimsuit of a friends that is white with rainbow colored letters on it.. She wants it back, but the color has faded.. I need to whiten it.. but I don't know how to do it, without ruining the colored words.. they're across the butt and chest.. any ideas on how to clean it?

One of the best products is Iron Out...a powder that is sold in the grocery stores. But be careful not to use it on any colored clothes as it will take ALL the color out.

Make a paste of baking soda and water, rub it into the white areas of the bathing suit. Let it sit for 1/2 hour or better, rinse and then wash according to the directions on the suit.

try clorox 2 for colors or oxy clean might work.
