I've heard that such a product exists but have never seen it. I've been told that if it gets on the carpet that you have to get a new carpet. If anyone knows of such a product tell me about it and where I can get it.

We have used it for pizza heat-ups, toast and breakfast sandwiches- and it is in need of a good cleaning. I don't know what (cleaning solution-wise) I can use to safely clean it. Thanks for all replies and suggestions!

I am wondering which option to go for and best method of fixing to screeded floors in living areas. Some say fix solid oak planks direct to screed with special adhesive. Others say fix engineered oak with underlay. Would you use prefinished varnish or oiled or waxed.

My boyfriend is an artsit and *used* to pour a lot of paints and such down the drain. He doesn't anymore, but the countless countainers of drain-o seem to be doing less and less good. Sometimes he will shower at 6:30am, and by the time I need to shower [sometimes as late as 5pm] - it is STILL backed up. I tried pulling the plug out to break some of the junk up myself, but I can't. Any suggestions besides drain-o....it's getting so costly.

Approximately 3 years ago, we purchase a brand new spec home. The house is a tri-level house, with the basement portion approximately 1/2 below grade. When we purchased the house, the basement was completely finished, and only one room (the furnace room) has exposed 2x4's with insulation and plastic covering the exterior walls. Recently when a Satelite Dish installer pulled back some of the insulation to pass the cable wire through, he noticed that there was ice and moisture on the wall. Pulling back the insulation revealed that the entire wall was infected with mold. I contacted the builder and they are currently working to remove the mold and reseal the room, but I am wondering if I need to have them do more than that. Do I need to have the rest of the house inspected (difficult because it is all behind finished sheet rock)? They are removing mold from the inside, will there also be mold on the outside? Once they do clean it will the be permanent damage to my house? Thnks 4 ne help.

Hello everyone,
I live in Tokyo and would like to grow a lawn. Lawns are not common in Japan, so getting information locally has been quite difficult. Therefore, I would like to find out which region of America is similar to Tokyo in order to get good information about what seeds to choose, and how to maintain my lawn.
For the recored, Tokyo in January is about 8C average, and in July it is about 28C average. It can be as hot as 40C in summer, and have overnight frost in winter. Summer is very humid, June and September are very wet, and winters are exceptionally dry.
Thanks in advance!

I live in a new home about a year old. The wall above my shower unit started crumbling and cracking. The contractor came in and just scraped spackled and repainted. But the paint and spackle are now cracking and peeling again. Is this an issue of using the wrong kind of drywall? How can I tell and what can I do about it?

We have an Action Garage door and the operating manual says to have it serviced professionally yearly, but I was hoping we could save some money and do it ourselves. It is suppose to be a relatively quiet garage door but it has been sounding pretty squeaky lately. Can anyone help?
