What's the least expensive snow blower that can handle heavy snow? I want something of good quality that will last but doesn't cost a fortune. Is it possible to get something good for $300?

What price do I have to pay to get something decent? I would rather pay for quality than cheap out on crap, but I was hoping to get something a little less expensive.

Probably not. Quality, durable, cheap. Unlikely.
Try to find a name-brand machine used. Parts will be important.
For heavy snow, you will need a two-stage machine.

Look on eBay.

Snow blowers are usually better for lighter snow. They take a lot of power to push through deep snow. Your best bet would be to use a shovel.one that is really reliable is the Honda Snow-blower HS724TA
