We live in south Texas and the driveway always shows rubber marks from the car pulling in and out, hate that, I like to put something on the driveway and garage area to hold up and not come off with hot tires and keep a clean look.

Hi, I got a Wesley Allen bed, the Andover model in a queen size, and the instructions were a little vague. Does anyone who has one of these beds or has sold them know, do I need to use the washers that came with the rest of the hardware? There's a bunch of washers, but no where in the instructions does it indicate where to use them or if you need them at all, but then again, why is there a bunch of them if you don't need them. I'm not handy at all so I have no clue if I need them. Any ideas? Please only answer if you have a Wesley Allen bed or you are familiar with them because, as I understand it, they have their own special "millenium frame" so I don't know if this will make a difference in answering my question. Oh, by the way, I got the complete bed with headboard, footboard, and frame if it makes a difference. Thanks in advance. :)

My dryer is an old one; it may be from before 1980. It was in my mobile home when I moved in, with no owner's manual. The model number is DDG7188PKLWH. Does anyone know where I can get info on how to change the belt, or have any tips for me?

We had a new house built. when it is windy, I hear the siding against the house rattle and it makes an awful noise like someone beating sheet plastic while scraping and tapping metal nails against the wood against the house. it is loud and actually keeps me up when Im trying to sleep at night. I spoke to a neighbor who says they don't have this problem. the builder foreman says he doenst think he is "going to find anything" I m not educated enough about building to know what is wrong and how to fix & because of this I dont nkow how to get this resolved. I should nt have to feel like I need to persuede them to try. I do know something is wrong. Please, any experienced people in any field of knowledge, Help!
thanks

I've bought a few here and there, but they always take 2 or 3 seconds to light, so my family has switched them to closets, which are hardly ever on anyway. Any good brands with no delayed lighting?

Light fixtures and electrical boxes must have a ground. Yet lamps, that get touched often, have only a 2 prong plug. In fact most things like clocks, TVs, VCRs, lamps, vac, toaster, can opener, ETC don't have a ground plug at all. It seems that grounding really isn't that important for our safety.

Has anyone else experienced a house "flood" when the icemaker in the icebox went awry during a vacation?
This happened to my relatives while they were on vacation for 2 weeks, and returned to find the house flooded. Does this happen often? thanks, everyone.

I have a rather large plumeria tree planted outdoors in my front yard. I want to take as much of the plant off (for cuttings to put in my backyard) without killing the main stalk. If I cut all the branches off, will the trunk grow new branches or will it die? Also, the branches are quite long before it branches out, creating a very open, and not so full tree, is this due to too much watering? I have never really fed it other than Miracle Grow and not very often. It has grown about 7' in 5 years. The trunk was about 2" diameter when we moved in and it is now about 5" in diameter. I would apppreciate any help.
