This Algae is attached to the side of the pond wall.I have tried Barley straw but that does'nt work. The filter system is keeping the water crystal clear & the PH & ammonia/nitrate levels are fine.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have a salt water pool and had a pool party last weekend.. well untill then I had been able to keep the water perfectly clean and balanced..but since the party the water has gone murkey.. I have been putting the pump on twice as often since and cleaned the filters twice since when I usually only have to clean them once every two -three weeks or so.. and have had the kreepy krawley in every night also.. Well I went to the pool supply shop this morning and she tested my pool water and told me to add 500g of chlorine & 2 stabeliser tablets.. which I have done..8 hours later the water is still murkey.. it was a 40º celcius day today and the night is still boiling..and I have some friends coming around soon to hop in the pool.. will the water be safe to swim in?? and when will the water go clear again??? I asked the pool supply lady she just said if I was concerned just not to put our heads under??

Why? I really like the magenta ones, but they always die on me. The leaves all turn yellow and drop off. I think that it's from crown rot. This has happened thrice. The white ones seem hardier. I don't have any problems with them. Do they require different treatment? I'd like to hear from someone who has been able to successfully grow magenta phalaenopsis orchids. Please advise me. Thank you.

I just bought a really nice hungarian goosedown comforter but I'm worried it will be too warm for all the seasons except winter, I'd like to keep it but I will need a real lightweight, breathable duvet cover. I am a single guy so I don't want a feminine one. I don't understand why so much bedding seems to be for women.

So help me find a lightweight cover! thanks.

I have a ton of child/ toddler clothes, a few adult male pants/jeans and some Age5-7ish clothes.

Anything else I had I threw in the trash- not worth putting out since only baby and child clothes and adult male pants tend to sell.

My question: If I put up a sign that said "All clothing items 25 cents, 10 cents for stained/ damaged items"

Is that low enough to move them? See any potential problems?
