Sounds like the run capacitor connected to the blower is bad. They are rated in mfd or micro farads.Unplug the furnace and remove the silver oval looking thing that is connected with 2 to 3 wires. It is connected directly to the motor.Take it to an appliance parts store and have them match it up.Here's a link with a picture of what they look like.

If you can't find a parts house then call one of the repair companys in town.Maybe the on call guy will sell you one off his truck.

Does the hum ever stop? It may be the Fan motor is stopped. Go to the thermostat and turn it off and see if the hum has stopped. Turn it back on and check is the gas is on full to the burner.

If it is, or it continues to not work you should call to have it repaired now.

If you put it off it is going to get cold and your pipes could break if the water freezes inside them.

As an emergency self repair you can try to oil the motor with the thermostat off. Then turn the fan using your hand, also with the thermostat off. If it loosens up you may have heat for a while.
