I have tried all of the fancy shoe organizers and none of them work.....:( Anyone have a suggestion?

I always keep my shoe boxes and I find that most are the same size and stack very well. You can even decorate your boxes by gluing fabric to them and they look nice. Fabric boxes are all the rage right now and are fairly cheap. Label the boxes so you know where that certain pair of shoes is at. Also keep the silica gel packs that come with them to keep out the shoe odor or put a small sachet in the boxes and keep your closet fresh smelling.

I keep them in the box they came in. And I attach a label and with a magic marker the same color of the shoes I right what they are. So when I look at the box I know what color shoe is in there, and if they are dress pumps,oxfords,flats, 3inch heels etc. It sure makes it easy to find.

i keep really expensive shoes in their boxes and neatly stack them. The others I put in 2 over the door shoe racks, but rather than keeping them over the door, I nail them to the wall. It's easy to see the shoes, and take up no functional space.

I keep then in the box they came in and the pic of the shoe is on the end of the box. I sort them by color and or seasonal.

I like the shoe boxes idea with a polaroid picture glued to the box.
