I have a sliding glass door and the floor is always cold near it so I'm sure a lot of cold air comes in...what can I do?

The easiest thing to do is get one of those snakes. A long round fabric tube filled with sand. Sliding glass doors are really hard to seal well with making them hard to open.

If you are not going to use the door until Spring, use some clear packing tape around the bottom of the door, sides and where the doors meet. I do it every winter and then remove the tape later. I have french doors with this problem. No more cold air in the room. If you place your hand where you feel the cold air coming in, that is where you tape.

there is something to put around house doors, at the base of garage doors . .. go to HD or Lowe's . . . I'm sure there is something for sliding glass doors. And don't forget that lock thingy for sliding glass doors . . Stay warm and safe.

I have Vertical blinds that I close at night and, on the cold nights I close them most of the way. I helps out a lot.

Try caulking underneath the door on the outside with a good silicone caulk...
