I have olive green carpet, and polar white walls, although they have been darkened due to living in it for 8 years, I only want to paint one wall, I have a lot of wood funiture, and a lot of junk heh, the wall in question is the wall directly behind my bed, and in front of my door. (As soon as you walk in, my dresser is to the left, and my computer table is to the right, with my bed directly ahead)

My toilet is clogged and we have tried using a snake and a plunger but it is still not working is there anything else we can do besides calling a plumber? My husband wants to pour mauratic(sp) acid down it... is this a good idea? Help please!

Looked everywhere, retail parks (homebase, mfi, harveys etc etc). Googled, checked 10s of links. Nothing. All we're after is a small nice dining table - solid wood or oak veneer? 120cm max (extendable FROM 120 is OK, extendable TO 120 is not). Under £500 ideally. Suspect there arent any, but hoping someone else solved this.... Thanks!

Okay -- TRUTH people! How clean is the inside of your microwave and does it tell the story about how clean your house really is?

Is there a site you know that would be helpful for this. I am going to be doingthe kitchen walls, no back splash from counter. Tile will start at counter & go up to bottom of cabinets.

I was thinking of using a regular tile & then half way up putting a 6 inch strip of glass tile, they are smaller & really add SPUNK! lol

I need some pointers on doing it though. Or any tips you might have.

THANKS!

I got a lawn mower from a friend who had bought it brand new and used it maybe 6 times last summer. In order to get it into the car I had to detach the bar handle and lay it ontop of the mower. While doing this the cord wrapped nearly completely inside the housing. When we tried to put the handle back on, the pull cord refused to budge. Any ideas? My husband is going to take a look but I was wondering if anyone experienced had some insight so the mower doesn't end up broken and my husband doesn't lose an arm.

I know this is a weird question, but...

My husband won this UGLY trophy for playing canasta last night. He has joked a few times about proudly displaying it in our house...even adding accent lighting to highlight it.

I'd really like to surpirse him by having it ridiculously highlighted and displayed in our house. I want it to be waaay over the top.

I've thought of putting it on the mantel with a bunch of arrows pointing to it, but I want to do something more creative than that.

Any ideas? It's the size of a medium sized trophy.

As for me, I use my towels for a week or more but I dry my private areas with my terrycloth robe so they aren't gross to dry my face with. Bedsheets, about once a month---since it's just clean me in the bed I don't see a reason to be more frequent.

The odor occurs when clothes sit damp, like towels. Some things like baking soda take it away when the article is dry, but as soon as it is damp again, the smell returns. Any definitive treatments, or is all lost?

I planted some snail vines, boganvilas (spelled terribly) and a tropical vine on my back patio in the early fall (late August). Now that it is cold in Phoenix I have noticed that the leafs are falling off the plants and the vines look sparce. My question is will they all come back in the spring or are they dieing? The stems on the snail vine are still pliable but the boganvila looks a bit dry. Is this normal for winter or is it my curse of a black thumb???

Is it abnormal to have small little white bugs crawling in the soil of my bosnia tree?

My boyfriend gave me a small beginner Bosnai tree that he ordered online for Christmas. I just realized there are tiny little bugs crawling around in the soil. You wouldn't notice them unless you were just staring at the soil and see tiny particles moving around. Is this normal for indoor plants? I'm just weirded out by bugs and don't want them crawling around my room. Will they stay in the soil or migrate out?

Thanks for your help in advance.

What is the point of the little door on the inside of a dishwasher which flaps open and shoots the dishwasher tablet into the machine? Why are we deemed incapable of throwing the tablet in ourselves?

Should I use a sponge mop that you can pull the device to drain the water or the mop that has pieces of cloth? I just want a mop that picks up well.
