You are better off calling the repairman. There are components that you can break easily and you can end up replacing things that you didn't originally need to.

Turn on the dryer and let it run and open the bottom door of the dryer and watch and listen as it go through it cycles. While it's running you will see and element heat up and get bright red, if it doesn't then thats bad, if it does, more than likely is one of the silenoid are bad and they cost me around $100 for the set. Be careful and good luck.

It sounds like the heating element is out. But I would also check to make sure that all of your hoses are all clear. They seem to get trapped with moisture and the lint that goes off of the clothes, etc. This could be the reason that the heating element went out of your dryer. Goodluck...

Try cleaning the hose that leads from your dryer to the outside. Make sure it's free of lint.
hope it works.

could be the gas valve, the timer, or a safety thermostat. you can go on line at sears and order a repair manual if you are handy. you will need the complete model #. it something like 110.76722695. it has that many digets. if you are not comfortable trying to fix it yourself you will need a repair person.
