The car-key gnomes use them to carry off the keys, the loose change that falls between the sofa cushions, and the last piece of pie that no one admits to eating...

The laundry gnomes take them! I have solved the problem of my children's single, unmatched sock. There is this great little web site that sells miss-matched socks only in odd numbers. My girls love picking out each sock to wear. And if one gets stolen by the laundry gnome it doesn't matter.

Sock Purgatory? Seriously, it probably never made it into the laundry..look under the bed..tho we did find one between the walls of the washtub when we had to take it apart for repairs...looked really bad...lol....

My kitten was dragging them off. I only discovered them missing when the laundry was finished.
