I have a rather tiny entrance area in my apartment which desperately needs redecoration. The floor is light oak, so I guess that yellowy tones won't go with that too well. The doors are off-white/cream and I won't change them. Any suggestions?

I searched everywhere but only got confirmation that one can get night tarifs e.g. for Storage Heaters, but there is no explaination why electricity becomes cheaper at night.

The bugs are black like eggs(bug eggs) but people say they are not eggs. They stick to the leafs and never comes out. We sprayed the medicene to get it out but it didn't work. It is a healthy and beautifle tree.

A relative told me that liquid soap is exactly the same as Bath stuff, and that it's much cheaper to buy bath stuff than liquid soap by the bottle. Is it true?

My neigbour demolished the house and built a new one. My house was designed and built before this occurred. Everything was fine until the new house was built.

Now, the neighbours have replaced the wall and carport that was on their side of the fence, running the entire length of my house, with an outdoor entertaining, dining area. ie, what was originally at the back of the house, they have moved to the side of their house, along the side of my house.

What this means is, the design of my house is no longer appropriate, because it does not incorporate any barrier against the noise that is constantly coming from the neighbour's outdoor area on the side of the house.

I would like to know if there is any way they can be forced to change their house so that it fits with the design of my house, which occured first. It is very unpleasant to have to listen to the neighbours all day, every day, and not be able to get any peace in the lounge room or bedroom.

I have drained the hot water heater (with water on and connected to hose. (a lot of clear debris came out maybe lime or calcium?). I then cut the pipe just out of the heater and cleaned out a little bit of rust. Is there anything to flush through the pipes to loosen up debris? How do I check pressure comming out of heater? I installed a compression valve after the heater if that helps. I may cut the pipe after the heater about 4 feet down at an old elbow by the floor and try and clear out there? Any way to blow pressure through after heater?

The incoming (from well) and outgoing (to house) pipes were frozen in my water storage tank vault. I was able to thaw them with an oil-filled heater and water is now going into the tank & the tank now has pressure. But I still don't have hot or cold water coming into the house. Pump appears to work. Water line cutoff in the vault and in the house are "open". No puddles of ice or icicles under the house. 24-48 hr estimate before the plumber shows up. Any ideas of what to do while I'm waiting to see if I can get the water flowing again?
