Why do manufacturers insist on putting stickers on glass surfaces? Is there any quick trick for getting the sticker all the way off the glass?

I stupidly forgot I was cooking some rice the other day which subsequently boiled dry and burnt my stainless steel saucepan.

My husband is refinishing our cabinets by himself and when we removed the old knobs from the doors on the cabinets it left like a diamond shaped mark on the doors. He has sanded and sanded and he can't get rid of them. We want to put new handles on but don't want to see the mark the old ones left behind. Is there any way to get rid of those marks?

Hello,
I just got some new kitchen tiles fitted and i accidently got pomegranite juice into the grout. I tried rubbing it but it has just gone black. Any ideas? I did try bleach but that hasn't worked either. I am panicking becuase they are newly done and my boyfriend is off shore and will go mad if i don't fix it.

my house is 65 years old and in the foor drain i can see a hole with a float in it. i can see a tile drain off to the side in the same drain. it looks like water(when it rains) comes from the side drain into the hole with float in it, but i can't really tell. i guess the hole with the float is the sump, but again i don't know.

My heater has not been putting out any warm haet at all for 12 days. Someone said that it was probably out of freon. I thought thats what you needed to run the airconditioner in the summer. Does anyone know if freon has anything to do with the heat also? This is in my house.

I think the finish on our bath tub in worn off because no matter what I clean with the tub still looks like it has dirt in the bottom of it. Its really terrible and embarrassing. When we get to the bathroom we will probably just get a new tub, but until the or for the future does anyone know of a product that does a good job with that? I mean I've tried bleach and it just leaves orange spots in the tub so thats dangerous.
