i want to decorate Tuscan style?

decor: keep it simple and earthy. avoid anything too frilly,fussy or flowery. one or two orante but rustic pieces of furniture such as a credenza or pair of armchairs is enough; everything else in the room should be simple and unadorned. try to create a space where you can feel lazy and informal. some large terracotta vases in the corners back-lit with floor level up-lighting are very effective and create the right atmosphere. window treatments should be plain (ecru colored linen on a wrought-iron rod.) flooring is best done in quarry tile, or slate.
use a lot of herbs, both inside and out. sage,rosemary, oregano, lavender, thyme. anything with a silvery-green leaf and with a musky aroma is good. keep bright florals to a minimum.eclectic but minimal collections of candlesticks and pottery and artwork. avoid gold and silver,instead go for bronze,copper,and wroughtiron.
