I think the finish on our bath tub in worn off because no matter what I clean with the tub still looks like it has dirt in the bottom of it. Its really terrible and embarrassing. When we get to the bathroom we will probably just get a new tub, but until the or for the future does anyone know of a product that does a good job with that? I mean I've tried bleach and it just leaves orange spots in the tub so thats dangerous.

Try Works cleaner, it's pretty strong stuff, usually does well on stains and dirt.

spray your tub with water, sprinkle in some comet & spread it around so there is an even layer. let it sit for 1/2 hour or so then give it a quick scrub & rinse. it will take the orange spots & greyness out

we had a tub like that once. as a temporary solution, we put down a lot of those self-adhering non-slip strips on the floor of the tub. it did a fair job of camoflaging the mess. we tried rubber mats too, but it was too much work to keep them clean.
