Why do manufacturers insist on putting stickers on glass surfaces? Is there any quick trick for getting the sticker all the way off the glass?

Peel off as much of the top surface of the sticker as you can. A little glass cleaner, let it soak a minute, and scrape it with a NEW, clean striaght razor blade. (Sparkle is the best cleaner. Even better when half diluted with water.)

I usually rub some mayo on the leftover sticker stuff and let sit for a bit and then wash off with regular dish washing detergent and sponge/whatever and a bit of "elbow grease" (not much elbow grease!). Sometimes needs a repeat ... but usually works!

drop by ace hardware and get a little bottle of "goo gone" and a small package of gem razor blades. paint the stickers with the goo gone and wait awhile. then scrape it off with the one-sided gem razor blade. the use of acetone (nail polish remover) works on some decals, but you really need the razor blades to get it sparkling clean. do it right for just a little more effort.

rub in some vegetable oil with the tip of your finger. let sit for 1/2 hour. scrub with a non-abrasive scouring pad under hot running water. no need to buy any expensive product.

i find simply hitting the sticker with a hammer helps considerably.
other handy hints follow....
high blood pressure?
simply cut your ear lobe deeply.
low blood pressure?
simply attach elastic bands tightly round your genitals.
i hope this helps.

You can use a scraper type of razor or peanut butter or penetrating oil and a razor knife.
