I have a small refrigerator. Some unpleasant things have gone bad in it, and since then, I've emptied it out, washed it with antibacterial soap, sprayed it with odor neutralizer, covered it in baking powder, let it air for days, and repeated. It still smelled funny, but I plugged it in and put food in it anyway. Now it smells REALLY bad- a putrid cloud of stench escapes whenever I open the door- even though I've put in baking powder and taken out any food that looks questionable.
What can be done to make it stop smelling bad?
