Is $20.00 an hour too much to charge someone to clean their house? It would take 3 maybe 4 hrs. If you couldn't afford to have your house cleaned weekly would you want someone to just clean the bathrooms? I had my own cleaning business & was charging $20.00 an hr. My friend says I should only be charging $10.00 an hour.

I bought a variety of them in small plastic pots (1.5 inch high) from the nursery (warm and shady) and placed them in my office (airconditioned with 9-5 lighting). Like cactus they don't need much water and the lady only said a teaspoon of water once a week and they'll be happy but mine just grew upwards!!

Help, I just want them to be small and cute..

Does it have to do with the wiring, the electricty or the quality of the light bulbs itself?

This is my first time using a gas range (instead of electric). We just bought a house with one and it is about two years old. When we cook things in the oven at about 400 F, the front and the top get VERY hot. I can only touch it briefly (a fraction of a second) without getting burned. The top is surprisingly hot too. All of the electric ranges I've used never got this hot. Is it possible something is broken on it or is this normal?

My parents are wanting to buy a house that have three oak trees on the land. The problem is, a lot of realtors told my parents that buying a house that has oak trees can be a bad thing. Something about overgrowth and uprooting the house (Exaggeration of course). Plus, they don't like how the oak trees look anyways.

So my question is, is it legal to get them removed? I live in the state of California and I have tried looking for the laws regarding oak trees but I couldn't find any. They aren't that big and removing them shouldn't be that big of a problem, but I was just curious on what actions my parents have to take to have the oak trees removed.
Thanks~

My room is very plain, white with a few posters. I want to redecorate but, don't know what I should do. I enjoy bright and happy colors such as pink, baby blue, orange, and yellow. What style or theme should I go with...poka dots, strips, etc.

The heater doesn't want to turn on. Some black plastic at the bottom had like rust on it's copper coils. I pulled it out and clean it. It worked, but I want to replace it.

I need to know what type and the manufacturer of a furnace or heater you recommend for my house.

I have a house that is 3040 square feet. It was built in 1946. The insulation in it is not the best right now, but it is insulated. I have new replacement windows in here also. 1520 square feet upstairs, and 1520 downstairs. The downstairs is a basement, but not totally buried. I will only minutely heat the basement for now.

i do have natural gas available here. Propane can be trucked in, but I have to have one of those tanks on my land:(. Currently I have a 60 year old heating oil furnace. it worked right up until lastnight. It costs me $400 to $500 a month to run it, so I need to do some upgrading, and I need to do it fast. its not out of fuel

I live in North carolina right in the middle of the state, so climate wise, it gets around 0 on the coldest days. I do also want air conditioning with it. Let me know what you think. No wood stoves, I have one in my shop, and hate it

A double sink vanity unit that has doors & drawers & looks like a French Chateau style/ Rococo style/ even footballers wives style !! ( heavy carved fronts) with a marble top that holds 2 x porcelain underset sinks. A huge mirror that goes with it would be good. i have tried to source this in USA & can get it there - but the shipping cost is more than the item itself.
Please contact me if you have one for sale or are part of a company that manufactures this sort of item.
Kind Regards
kayekoo
