My room is very plain, white with a few posters. I want to redecorate but, don't know what I should do. I enjoy bright and happy colors such as pink, baby blue, orange, and yellow. What style or theme should I go with...poka dots, strips, etc.

Just do like a jumble of your colors on the wall. Like bright splotches of pink orange etc. Dont mix them, just have them touch and be abstract.
Or I would suggest painting the whole wall orange, then sponge painting with pink and yellow would look cool.

I suggest going to a fabric store and looking for a fabric that catches your fancy. Then decorate around that. You could mix fabrics like blue and white toile with blue and white checked. Pink and black and white is a very pretty French color combination as is pink and green and white. Be in spired and then find a rug, paint, and accessories to match.

I just painted my walls red. Paint your doors white and your window sills white. And use white sheer curtins. If you want sheek or sexy use gold accents, like pillows, picture frames, etc. Hang white sheer fabric, like the really long (20') sheers. You can buy at most dept. stores. Hang them over your bed! Tack to your ceiling over the corners of the bed and let the rest hang down. You can also use black instead of white curtins and sheers. Get some black plastic blow-up chairs to add.

get some plant stencils, and use pastel colors to do flowers, but don't leave out the leaves. Use a bolder color, like forest green, with lime edges and stripes for accent.
Use more than one shade for the flowers too. Hibiscus flowers are simple, and lovely!

Paint one wall as if the sun was rising; going from dark at the bottom to light towards the top of the wall. On the other wall paint it as if the sun was setting; dark at the top and light towards the bottom.

hmm..take all the colors that you want and take a brush and go crazy on the walls!!! then get rugs and a comforter and lamps to match the colors it'll be soo cute!!!
