Well if you feel led to do it then do it. If you know what the heck your doing that would help as well.
You could easily make a living doing it because plumbers and co's like roto-rooter usually chrge $140-200 to do such a service.
But you have to remember that it could take you 3 - 5 yrs to get established in business and would have to spend a lot of money to advertise your business.
Best to start as a side line and and then change your profession as your business grows.

It sounds like a good idea on paper but do you actually have a plumbing license or some type of schooling for it? Chances are people are going to ask you to fix this and fix that and you'd better know what you are doing. Unless you live in a big city just how many people do you think are going to call you just to unclog a kitchen sink on a weekly basis? Maybe if it's just a side job but I personally don't think you could get rich doing just those few problems.

You can start a business doing anything. Go for it. Your success will depend a lot on advertising.
