The heater doesn't want to turn on. Some black plastic at the bottom had like rust on it's copper coils. I pulled it out and clean it. It worked, but I want to replace it.

The copper coils are called an A-coil. It is the heart of the A/C. The black plastic is the drip pan, that collects the water condensation when the A/C is running. The A-coil is referred to as an evaporator. It has nothing to do with the furnace (unless you have a heat pump)

thermocouple? though I haven't seen one with plastic on it. Little more info would help.
