So many people use baby wipes on their leather sofas, but many of you have said that its "bad" for your sofa. Why? what are the reasons behind it.
ALSO, how can you condition your leather sofa other than going and buying a conditioner? any natural products someone can recommend??

I am moving in to a flat but don't intend to stay permanently, perhaps 1 year. The landlord is replacing the avocado bathroom suite with a new white one.The problem is the sandy coloured tiles are horrible and will look even worse against the white bath.
Does painting the tiles work effectively, and if so what is the best way to do it?

I live in a converted attic. Behind my walls there is a hollow triangular space where the roof meets the top of the walls. I have access to this area and as it has a floor it is completly safe to walk about in. However each night for about a week I have heard something walking/scratching and jumping about in my attic space. When i open the door it has run away. I live on the third floor in a stone house in Scotland. What animal is it most likely to be and what can I do to get rid of it?

My roofer is a respectable businessman, and does roofing all year long. He says it's fine to roof during the winter as long as it's not raining. Other people have told me the shingles won't "seal". I'm worried, but I want to trust my contractor. He was recommended highly by several people, also, I really can't let the roof go through the whole winter. I already have some water damage.

counters, etc and repainting. I feather dusted it and started coughing and couldn't stop for hours and next day still bothering me some..what is the dust that was everwhere no matter how far away and is in it and is it dangerous to breath?

then replaced all with new. when I came back after 4 days, everything in my small apartment no matter how far away was covered with a thick coating of dust. I feather dusted it and then started couching hard and couldn't stop..coughed on and off for hours till I feel asleep..in morning seemed allright but now it feels like my breathing is labored and hard to breathe..feels like airway is clogged; however, I was in a minor traffic accident tonight and apparently hit chest on steering wheel and had difficulty breathing and getting a deep breath (couldn't go to hospital as no way home as car undriveable) so tonights breathing problems may or may not be due to residual and recirculated dust or missed spots.

My question..what could be in that dust and was it dangerous to breath it? any solutions?

The boiler has a theromstat, the wall has a theromstat, the radiator has a theromstat. If I want to set the temperature constantly at 20 degree, which one should I set? Can you explain the different use of the thermostats? I understand that the boilder would stop when it reaches, say 20C and run again when it falls below 20c, but my boilder does not restart, particularly in the morning. My boiler is a new boiler.

It is a ~10yr old Majestic he32tn fireplace installed by the previous owner of the house. I normally keep the pilot light out because I don't use if often, lighting the pilot requires holding down the knob for ~3 minutes before it lights successfully which takes more than average patience since the spring pressure on the knob is high.

From that point everything is ok and the unit puts out nice heat until about 20 minutes later when suddenly I hear a click/ping and both the flames and the pilot go out.

I just had a service person here today who cleaned the pilot unit, but it didn't change the behavior. I could swear once I saw it go out then come back on later, but maybe that was a freak accident, it didn't repeat tonight.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Only some of the plants are coming out with the leaves not being big. Most of the plants are coming out with nice looking leaves but on some the leaves are kind of curled up and scrunched up. If anyone knows why it will be a big help. Thanks
