I have a big fluffy Wilsons leather jacket, I really like it..but last year my cat decided to pee on it.

It smelled horrible so we stuck it in a garbage bag and planned on taking it to the cleaners to see if there was anything they could do. Well, it ended up just getting shoved away with the Christmas stuff which is how I found it today.

There is no visible damage to it, but it still smells. The coat says to take it to a "special leather cleaner only" ..what does that mean?

Can my coat even be saved?

The lamps are about 50 yrs old and very rare. Over the years they have yellowed and stained. I'd like to make them white or ivory without damaging them.

I've never grown up in a home with smokers, but I'm assuming that is what this is caused by, since the previous tenants were chain smokers.

When I moved in my friends and I, all repainted, took down wallpaper, and fixed up the place. (It’s is a rental home).

Where we have repainted on the walls there are orange streaks, that comes down from the ceiling.. this has happened gradually. I woke up this morning to one in the family room in a random spot. What the heck is that? Its driving me a little batty..now I've also found spots with mold too.. Now I'm getting a little tired of this.

I asked my landlord to come over today to look at it.. were cleaning up the mold with Javex too today.(Although I know that is more for cosmetic purposes, and from what I hear it won't fix the actual problem)
How do I get rid of these orange streaks on my painted wall? Has anyone ever heard of this?
(Their just small little lines starting from the ceiling.. it looks like their dripping down) ugh

I have so much accumulated, but don't know where to start. I'm afraid of tossing something I could get money for, and this is important, as my husband died of cancer leaving me with a mortgage, health care bills and 2 youngsters. When I sold some very nice furniture at a general auction I really got "taken" . Where do I find best prices for things? list on ebay one at a time? (ug!)
A couple of specific questions:
1. Are old National Geographics worth anythiing, or should I donate/recycle. they go back to the 60's.
2. Record albums. They were my husbands, hundreds of them. I saved about 200, and got about .25 cents each for about 200. they don't want the rest . should I just toss them?
3. old atari games, unused (we had a consession yrs ago)
4. big disk movies, a system that competed w/video yrs ago. Good stuff: last seasons skiis used once. Waterford crystal. Beleek China. boxes and boxes of colored glass, china, nice knick nacks.I'm overwhelmed, please guide me!

I've been able to find Ionic air purifiers that don't need replacement filters, but I have not been able to find a HEPA air purifier that does not need a replacement filter. Not only do they require replacing the filter but the filters are very expensive.

The local cable company installed a fiberoptic cable system to the apartment. They dug a 3-4 foot deep hole in the ground and the wires/cables were laid into it. OK.,got the picture? Here's the question; I noticed that snow does not accumulate for long on the ground cover plate that protects it.There's snow around the plate but not on it. Where's the heat coming from? Or is it some other kind of "gasp"radiation?
