We bought a propane kitchen stove and my fiance wants to install all the copper pipe and wiring and such for the stove himself then have the propane company connect the tank. is that safe? should we let the propane company do it for us? It costs alot more then we want to pay to have it done by them.

My motherinlaw passed away in July this year & her daughter is going to take over the house but because of probate ect, has not yet moved in. The nighboour has now pulled out a well kept hedge & errected a 6ft high fence. It has left a gap at the front of her drive where the hedge met a small fence panel. It has also restricted the light into the front room. The hedge is on my mother inlwaws boundry. Can the neighbour do this with out any notice.

I think I may have drilled into our fuse box a little bit from the other side of the wall. Yes, I know...dumb ... let the heckling begin...

I was drilling a pilot hole before putting in a drywall anchor. I came to something hard and thought it was just a stud. So I pushed harder to drill into for a little bit. But didn't really seem to get anywhere. I pulled the drill out and on the tip of the drill bit were a few hairs of metal. I think it maybe was the back of the fuse box on the other side of the wall. I only drilled in about 1/2 of inch from this side of the wall. I think most of that distance was through all drywall.

Could I have drilled into the fuse box? Could this cause a dangerous situation with wires / fires?

I need to use something strong that won't damage the tile but will eliminate all fungus/mold, I have used Kaboom and the grout is still stained by mold. Thank you so much for your help.

My 20 years old Nordyne heater is suddenly not heating anymore while the blower is still running. I tried to shut off step by step:
- Turn off thermal switch in mobile home.
- Turn off control valve on heater
- Turn off gas valve on heater
Then I turn on:
- Control valve
- Gas valve
and turn Thermal switch to 70 temperatur grade, but the blower is running right away (normally it blows 30 seconds after thermal switch is turn on) and won't heat.
Could any expert can help me?

Thanks for your help.
Kevin

Like I said the make of the boiler is a Linea (Zokera). It always locks out. A red light flashes where the green light is & shows error code 07 and I keep having to switch the boiler off then turn it back on again. .In addition to this, the water pressure keeps going down daily even though I always try to re-pressurise it. I have called an engineering firm (CORGI reg) and two different people have had a look at it, but the problem still persists. I believe I am being ripped off. Is there something that should be done? The last time an engineer came out (which was yesterday), he said that something on top had no air and was flat (maybe guage, but I am not sure) and he got a little pump to pump some air into it. The boiler is not that old-about 4 years I think.

Can somebody give me some invaluable advice regarding my problems?

Also, can someone please tell me how much it will cost to buy & install a new boiler (a good make but not the very expensive brands).

Thanks Guys.

I have several spots in my hardwood floors where we have forgotten to remove the mop after cleaning and left it sitting on the floor. It left a "stain" where the mop was sitting. Is there any way other than refinishing to remove these spots?

The developer used a kitchen cabinet for the vanity in the bathroom. It's really big and has lots of storage but It's kind of deep, which means you can't get really close to the mirror and has no drawer space, but I can deal with that. Problem is it's counter height and he installed an above counter faucet. I'm 5'5" and it's tough for me to use. Any ideas on how to fix? Get a recessed sink installed. The countertop is granite... Thanks!

We have anchors that are for 3/8 " thick drywall. The anchor itself is like a fat screw made of white plastic. We are a little frustrated because instead of screwing in and anchoring in the drywall, it often just chews up the drywall like a bore and makes a big hole. Are we doing something wrong? My boyfriend thinks the wallboard maybe is just too cheap and old. We live in a condo that is around 20 years old.

Are we using the wrong product? Or wrong techinique?

I have been told that is one of the complaints about the ionic breeze, but I have no idea what that means. Someone checking the air in our house (we thought we had mold) told us to put it in the bathroom because we have mold there, but nowhere else in the house. He also said that we shouldn't leave it running all the time because it will ionize the air too much.

there are a few outlets in the kitchen that suddenly stopped working. i can only assume that it may be after a toaster which was plugged into one of these outlets was left on. i checked the circuit breakers and none of them tripped; in fact, i switched out the circuit breaker which i thought was responsible for these outlets (just in case it was a faulty breaker). still no luck. these outlets do not appear to be GFCI type, at least i can't seem to find the reset button anywhere (checked the garage as well).
any thoughts? any help is appreciated. thanks.
