soaked some material in bleach and rinsed it a few times as best I could but it's still very bleachy smelling. Is there anything i can re-soak it in to remove the remaining bleach? I don't know something that can neutralize it? thanks

Use some white vinegar and water. Let it soak a while. Then rinse a few times. This will *really* neutralize the smell.

I would try washing it again, minus the bleach, but this time, use a fabric softener, like downy in your rinse cycle. Best of luck to you.

If I were you, I would wash it in regular laundry detergent and fabric softener if you want, and then dry it with a fabric softener sheet in with it to help take out the odor.

Neutralize it in a Baking Soda-Water solution.

Repeat using laundry detergent without bleach. If that fails, take it to a professional cleaner.
