It is about a 5 minute job but he has to travel to your house. He would probably charge for at least 1/2 hour. Could be anywhere from $10 - $25. A plumber will charge you $100. Call the gas company and they will probably do it for free.

This is something you can do just turn off the gas to the dryer and unscrew the pipe or hose. A Gas fitter will charge a minimum of $65.00 for a service call. Your local gas company may do it for free. Call them

It sucks because of the service fee. But it is a realy simple job that you could do yourself. All you need is a pair of plyers. Find the gas shut off valve turn it off, turn off the power, undue the gas conection, remove, instal new one. Its simple. If you live in DC i could do it for you.

Whatever the hourly rate is. If it takes less than an hour, which it should, then he only gets an hours pay. So, the one time fee to come out + the one hour fee. About $100-$120
