if the object is a hard smooth surface, I use a sharp razor blade and a very shallow angle to carefully slide under the sticker. If the sticker is on fabric, you can stem it off with an iron and then send to a dry cleaner to remove any left over adhesive.

Apply hot water on it, then wait for a while for 5 minutes or so. After that try to remove the stickers.

If the stickers are on glass i found the best way is using a razor blade. If its on paint or wood the razor blade may cause scratching. Ive found its best to use a solution you can buy at grocery stores or hardware stores that is used for just that purpose, antiadhesive.

it depends on the surface of the material you are pulling the adhesive off of. rubbing alcohol would work well for most non-porous surfaces. soaking the object in water for a while will also remove the sticker.

Try soaking the object in water overnight if possible and safe to do so.
Else, there is a product called "Goo-B-Gone" which works pretty good. Smells like oranges.

If you have a can of cooking spray, use some of that and let it sit for a minute to soak in then wash in hot soapy water. May have to do it once more and use a plastic scrubby but it will come off.

depending on what you're cleaning, i use WD-40. it stinks, but it really gets residue off from difficult things like stickers. especially from glass.
