well, where do you live, snow lots of rain tornados? the most basic are those plasic ones that just get tied on. but you can also buy some "hard" cover ones that have a hard platic material, i dont want to say figer glass but its a plastic

We almost covered our outside hot tub and after a night of stargazing in it was glad we hadn't.
