Hi all! Can any of you tell me if there is a way to make a fig tree stop producing it's fruit? I know it sounds horrible but they are just so messy. We have this huge fig tree in our back yard, about 30 feet tall. It's a nice big full tree and the fruit is very good. I like the tree and I love the shade it produces in the hot summer. I just don't like the mess that it makes in the yard. When my son goes out to play he is stepping all over the fallen figs and it gets pretty messy. Is there a way to keep this lovely tree from producing fruit? Thanks

My lights have been out since last Thursday, and the temps have not gotten above freezing generally speaking. Is it ok to eat the food in my fridge?

We had a full buyers survey carried out when buying our house. A water leak upstairs has now damaged our kitchen and the plumber suspects it has been slowly dripping and building up in the ceiling area since before we moved in, and that it was caused by inferior plumbing. None of this was on our report. What action, if any, can we take against the surveyor?

The blade is attached by slipping one hole onto the post of the bracket and then screwing in the bolt and lockwasher to secure it. The threads on the bracket receiving the bolt are worn and the blade needs to be retightened VERY often. The bracket looks to be easily replaced by removing two escutcheon pins that attach it to the main shaft.
My model is Craftsman Auto Scroller Saw 315.26750 and newer versions have great fastener brackets. I don't know if they are compatible with mine. The Sears website only carries the entire front end of the saw as a replacement part.
If I retap the bolt bracket, then I will probably have to increase the diameter and thus have to ream each new blade to size before using it. Not a pleasant prospect.
The saw is still very powerful and useful. Does anyone have a recommended solution?

I have replaced the spark plug for this winter season, but want to be sure the oil/gas ratio is correct in the engine. I was able to start the blower only once with the old spark plug and now I'm supicious that my brother put in gas from the wrong storage gas tank.

heres the situation PLEASE HELP!! ok, ilive in a trailor that has no windows (just storm windows) and the floor behind my washer is caving in and when i told my landlord about it, he said"just throw a board over it." my heat runs non stop because of the window situation - wasting what we pay to keep us and our kids warm. when i first moved in here i wrote down a list of problems and NOTHING has been fixed. also does a lease agreement have to be notorized to be binding? I just want out!!!

I try to decorate a second bedroom for visitors that come at xmas. the second bedroom will be for the 18 yr old son of my friend. My friend is from Ukraine, her son. It is their first visit to the UK

I have laid new dark blue carpet, painted the walls in soft grey with some grey/lilac curtains. the duvet cover and top pillows are lilac, the sheet and bottom pillows dark blue. There is a computer in the room and friends lend xbox and pc games. Furniture is beech, bed frame is silver/beech

But ... the walls are bare, I want him to feel at home. what can I place on the walls? or some other simple decoration...

this is a serious question, I need a womans touch?
