How to I ask for this part. What can I do myself to fix this. I cleaned it myself and worked.

The air must be able to flow freely through the A coil. Putting foil over the coil would be worse than using it with the dirt on it. There should be a filter or filters in the unit below the A coils to catch the dirt and should be replaced monthly.

No!! You will be obstructing the air flow through the coil if you do.
I would advise buying a pleated air filter to decrease the buildup....& have an A/C & Heating Technician do a bi-yearly check on your system for maintenance.....it will save you on energy efficiency & prolong the life of you unit as well.....

Your question is confusing. Is your unit a heat pump? If it is. No, you can not cover it up. If it is not a heat pump, you still shouldn't cover it up because the heated air has to pass through there. I think cleaning it didn't fix the heater( it helped to make it work better). I think you had a safety switch that was stuck and messing with the unit caused it to free up.
