The newest material to use is called carfentrazone. It goes by the name of "Speedzone" and its manufactured by PBI Gordon. It can be mixed with your normal broadleaf weed control chemicals in the spring and fall applications. Recommendations say that once you see the weeds start to turn yellow in about 10-12 days, make an additional application. Wild violet and ground ivy are two of the toughest weeds to control.
Good luck.
