This plant is driving me crazy. I keep it on the kitchen table so it gets plenty of light, but not direct light. I water it thoroughly once a week with a few drops of plant food in the water. And the thing is still looking droopy and about to die. I am having this problem with all my plants. The red chilli plant, my pin coushin plant and my other plant (I don't know what it is called but it has small oval leaves that are dark green with white veins that is supposed to be a trailing plant. It has fuzzy branches.) All my plants get the same treatment. I water them all on Sunday, let them dryout through the week and water them again on Sunday. All with a few drops of plant food. Just normal in door liquid plant food in the water. They all get light, but it's just my kitchen light and no direct sunlight. I don't get sunlight into my house any where.

Once a year, I scrub down the walls. (The walls are painted plaster.) It's hard work, but is a piece of cake compared to washing the ceilings. (The ceilings are painted semi-smooth plaster, as well.)

Standing atop of a ladder, with arms extended overhead, and trying to use a handheld scrub in a circular motion is excruciating, because much of the circulation in the arms rapidly descends, resulting in swift discomfort and fatigue.

I'm not aware of many alternate ways to >>>thoroughly<<< clean a ceiling. Using a handled spongemop to reach the ceiling will work to a degree, but it's not going to be nearly as thorough as the way I wash my walls: using a spraybottle, handheld scrubbrush, and a sponge.

Naturally, the kitchen is the worst from all the cooking residues. I am rueing the task of washing it. It will be agonizing. Isn't there a less strenuous way to wash my ceilings?

I asked a question about the best thing to use to get stains out of of my toodlers clothing. This Quixtar was recommended but I cannot find it and have no idea how to find it. Anyone have any info on this? Oh! If you want to answer the stain question I am still open for ideas!

I bought a lock for my fridge because every weekend I am gone - people steal beer every time. I drilled into the side and a lot of air came out and I think I broke the compressor or something. I brought the fridge used for like 50 bucks so is it work fixing or not because the ice is starting to melt at the top so i dont think the fridge works anymore.

Hello, Glenn Kawesch here. We are building a structure and we are trying to estimate how many boxes of nails we will need. We realize we can take the unused boxes of nails back but now we just have a bet to see who is right.

Glenn Kawesch thinks: 200 nails
Billy thinks 1000 nails
Amy thinks 500 nails.

In a 5lb box of construction type nails ( 2.5 - 3 inch ). About how many nails is this?

Ok, well you see my sister has a project about plants and what they do during the winter season. Does anyone know what happens to Mint Leaves when the fall/winter season rolls around? Do they change color? Do they die and grow back during the Spring? Or what happens?
Every little thing counts:)! Your help is greatly appreciated.

P.S.- Here's a website link to use for seeing a picture of it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Mint_leaves.jpg

Thanks,
