For biology i have a lab report on fertalizers. Im using this one called Miracid and the number at the bottom is 21-7-7. Does anyone have any idea what those numbers represent?!

Every fertilizer I've seen has these three numbers. They represent nitrogen, phosphorous, and postassium, respectively. Nitrogen helps the leaves grow; phosphorous boosts flower and fruit production, and potassium stimulates root development. Miracid is formulated to be particularly good for acid-loving plants such as azaleas, rhododendrons, gardenias, etc.

the first number is N (nitrogen), the second is P (phosphorus) and the third is K (potassium). the numbers represent the percentage of each element in the fertilizer.

NPK... right on...

You're fertalizer is higher in nitrogen than the other elements. This makes it valuable for plants that need to make lots of green leaves... spinach, chard, grass, shrubs...

N - P - K the three basic nutrients for plants

The first is percent of Nitrogen in fertilizer.
The second is percent of Phosphates in fertilizer
The third is the percent of Potassium in fertilizer
